Getting a cardiology molecule cited inside AI answer engines in its launch quarter.
- hypothesis
- Clinicians trusted the molecule but couldn't find a structured indication brief.
- so what
- Published an entity-linked HCP hub; seeded it across AEO and medical indexes.
A mid-cap pharma brand was launching a cardiology molecule into a market where three competitors were already well-indexed inside ChatGPT and Perplexity.
The clinical story was strong — but the supporting content was fragmented across a corporate brand site, a KOL microsite, and half a dozen congress PDFs. None were structured for citation.
We consolidated everything into an HCP hub with ArticleSchema, MedicalStudy, and Drug markup. Every clinical claim had a named reviewer and a dated URL. We seeded it across medical indexes, Crossref, and two answer engines with direct partnerships.
By end of launch quarter, ChatGPT and Claude citation rate was 3.2× the pre-launch baseline, and the brand was named in 41% of relevant prompts vs. 13% for the nearest competitor.
